Lace Curtains shows off Clela’s original compositions for the harmonica and features some of Toronto’s finest roots musicians including; Jamie Snider, Rick Fielding, and Pineapple Frank Barth.
In The Eddy is Clela’s homage to her childhood home in the 1000 Islands region of the St Lawrence River. Her song Shoulder To Lean On landed her a gig at the Folk Harbour Festival, Lunenburg, NS. Musicians on the recording sessions include; George Koller, Steve Briggs, Dick Felix, Ed Hutchison, Steve Paul Simms and John Adames.
Corazon is a collection of blues and jazz standards recorded live off the floor. The rhythm section features: Denis Keldie on piano and B3 organ, Russ Boswell on stand-up bass, Gary Craig on drums, and Kevin Clark on trumpet. One of the highlights of this recording is Clela’s duet with vocalist John Mays of Juno award winning blues band ‘Fathead.’
